Our apiary sits in a meadow in the village of Blewbury, just below the Ridgeway. It's surrounded by village homes with lovely gardens.
Most of the bees’ foraging is in the gardens of Blewbury, with only a little from farmland around the village. With so many different flowers, the honey has a lovely aromatic flavour, and its colour changes through the season from pale green to a deep, rich amber.
In some years, when the weather is kind, we also get lime honey. It's light in colour with a minty flavour.
The bees forage on whatever is flowering in the village gardens at the time, so no two harvests taste quite the same.

“I don't normally eat honey but I do yours.”Ridgeway Honey customer
Our tall glass gift bottle holds 454g of the same Blewbury honey and comes with a wooden honey spoon tied at the neck. The glass is embossed with a traditional straw skep on its stand, framed by flowering plants, above the words “One Pound Pure Honey”, so it looks the part on a kitchen table. Once the honey's finished, it has a second life as a flower vase. So it's a present that keeps giving long after the last spoonful. The Gift Pair gives you the bottle plus a standard jar.
