Orders start at 2 jars. We post with Royal Mail Tracked 48, and most parcels arrive 2–3 working days after dispatch. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days of your order. We deliver to UK mainland addresses only.
Glass and breakages
Every jar is sealed and packed in a box designed for posting glass. If a jar arrives broken or leaking, email a photo to info@ridgewayhoney.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery. We'll replace it or refund you.
Returns
Honey is a food, so for hygiene reasons we can't take back opened jars. The legal 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply to perishable goods or to sealed goods that have been opened. If something isn't right with your order, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Frequently asked questions
My honey has gone cloudy or set. Is it off?
No. Real honey crystallises naturally over time, some batches faster than others. Stand the jar in warm (not boiling) water and stir until it runs clear again.
Is it local honey?
Yes. Every jar comes from our own hives in Blewbury, Oxfordshire, and is never blended with anyone else's honey.
How long does it keep?
Honey keeps for a very long time. Each jar carries a best-before date. Store it at room temperature with the lid on, and don't keep it in the fridge.
Can babies have honey?
No. Honey should not be given to babies under 12 months old.
Can I buy a single jar?
Online orders start at 2 jars, because posting glass one jar at a time costs almost as much as the honey. If you're local, get in touch.
